Step 1

Check whether you meet the entry requirements of our courses:

• Over 18 years of age
• You will need a strong command of the English language (verbal, written and comprehension). If English is your second language you must provide evidence of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test here or an equivalent. Students must achieve a score of at least 6. During your video interview your English language proficiency will also be assessed by our Course Advisor.
• You will need a laptop to complete our Diploma courses, please review our computer requirements here.

Step 2

Download, print and complete your enrolment form here. You will need to sign, scan and email this form to info@sydneydesignschool.com.au  including;

• A certified copy of your passport
• Your English language competency test with an academic score of at least 6 (IELTS or equivalent if required)
• A one page motivational statement explaining why you want to study interiors in Sydney

Step 3

You will receive a confirmation email that your application has been received. We will assess your application and eligibility and request a video interview to discuss this further.

Step 4

We will respond to you within 5 working days of your video interview to advise whether your application has been successful. If you have been accepted to the School you will receive a Letter of Offer.

Step 5

You will need to sign your Letter of Offer and email it back to us. At this stage you will pay a deposit of AUD $2,490.00 on your course to secure your place (total course fees are listed here). If you are unable to obtain an international student visa your deposit will be 95% refunded (see Refund Policy here).

Step 6

Our team will send your Confirmation of Enrolment within 5 working days of your deposit being received. You will need this document to apply for your international student visa and Overseas Student Health Cover, more info here.

Step 7

Provide evidence of your international student visa and Overseas Student Health Cover via email. Once your documents have been checked you will receive a welcome email and all the details you need to start studying with us!
